Writer Poet editor educator
Colleen hails from the windy city of Chicago and also from a small slice of Western Kentucky not far from Lake Barkley. She combines a unique blend of forms and voices to take readers on an adventure in landscape and learning.
Colleen has published poetry and prose in Notations and Memphis State, along with performing readings in Chicago, Tucson, Nashville, Asheville, and Orlando, including Chicago’s Green Mill, Nashville’s Pub of Love, and the National Poetry Slam competition in Asheville, North Carolina. Now living in Orlando, Florida, Colleen is a writing instructor, MFA Poetry candidate at UCF, and enjoys the celebrating the arts in Orlando while planning her next trip across the United States.
